Grade II listed War Memorial, St John's Wood, London
Located in the middle of a roundabout at the junction of the A41 and A5205. The late 1920s War Memorial was the work of sculptor C.L. Hartwell RA. It is an equestrian figure of St. George slaying the dragon. The dedication http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2951377 is to the part played by the men and women of Saint Mary-le-bone in the two World Wars. Grade II listed in December 1987.

Grade II* listed St John's Wood Church, London
The Anglican church is on the north side of the roundabout at the junction of the A41 and A5205. Built in 1813-14 to the neo-classical design of Thomas Hardwick, its prominent feature is a tetrastyle portico. Grade II* listed in September 1954.
