Bayes House
4 Greville Place, Maida vale, the former home of the Sculptor, Gilbert Bayes (1872-1953). I took this photo on the day the Blue Plaque, (see right hand of the house) was unveiled.

Maida Vale Telephone Exchange (1)
Located at 138 Maida Vale W9 1QD, this TE rathers resembles an office block with space for vehicles beneath it. It used to have KILburn and MAIda Vale numbers until the late 1960s, but now has 0207-328, 372, 604, 624, and 625 xxxx numbers, plus some Inner London numbers.

Maida Vale Telephone Exchange (2)
This TE on the A5 road, serves the Kilburn and Maida Vale areas having had exchange names of those two places until the late 1960s, when it changed to all-figure numbering. A BT Openreach vehicle can just be seen in the garage space area whilst a black letterbox is fixed on the wall, although very little post probably gets delivered to it nowadays.
