Newsagent on West End Lane NW6
This is very near West Hampstead Underground station. The newspaper promotional board on the far left is for the Jewish Chronicle -- it sells well in this area as there is a considerable Jewish community in the area. It has just been raining heavily.

West Hampstead: Jubilee Line station
Opened on 30 June 1879 on the Metropolitan & St John's Wood Railway, of which it was the terminus until November of the same year, when the line was extended to Willesden Green. On 20 November 1939, Bakerloo Line trains reached this point, although Metropolitan Line trains continued to call until 7 December 1940, after which these trains ran through the station without calling. The section of the Bakerloo Line from Baker Street to Stanmore was transferred to the Jubilee Line on 1 May 1979.
