River Brent from Mutton Bridge
Viewed looking downstream and right on the western edge of Image this is the River Brent from Mutton Bridge. Although the water looks slightly silty after some heavy rain it was immensely gratifying to see the turquoise blue iridescent streak of a kingfisher come flying out from under the bridge just before the photograph was taken, proving that under normal flow conditions this reach of the river supports a large enough population of fish, and is clear enough for these birds to fish and thrive.
