View from the roof of Fenton House
The balcony on the roof is opened to visitors on clear days when there is good weather. This day fitted the bill and the North Downs were visible beyond the towers of the City of London. On a very clear day, the mast at Wrotham Hill next to the A20 and near Brands Hatch in Kent can be seen and the view from near there looking back in this direction is seen at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3182896

Hampstead Grove
A street connecting White Stone Pond with Holly Mount and Hampstead High Street via Holly Hill. Running parallel with Heath Street, the White Stone Pond end has been blocked off to traffic to reduce its popularity as a rat run. The lamp post has clearly had a bit too much to drink over the christmas period!

Apartment Block on The Mount
Seen from Heath Street at the junction with New End. The changes in road level, prevalent in the Hampstead area, are evident in this photo. Hollyhocks in the grass of the verge confirm that this is summer in England.
