Heath Street runs between Hampstead village and Hampstead Heath. A no. 268 bus makes its way down the hill en route from Golders Green to Finchley Road. The ugly concrete building on the left does nothing for Hampstead's otherwise considerable charms.

Elm Row
A fascinating house on the corner of Elm Row and Heath Street, complete with its own Victorian post box. Christ Church spire is visible behind, but sadly no elm trees. An elderly couple step out wearing their remembrance poppies in the bright November sunshine.
