The Beaten Docket, Cricklewood Broadway London NW2
J.D.Wetherspoon pub at 50-56 Cricklewood Broadway.
The pub's website states that a beaten docket is a losing ticket often associated with horse racing, which was a feature of this area in the late 19th century. Kingsbury Races were held five times a year on land leased by William Perkins Warner, proprietor of the nearby Old Welsh Harp, and attracted thousands of racegoers.
