1 Eversholt Street
One of three black towers (known enigmatically as 'the Black Towers') of Richard Seifert & Partners's redevelopment of the station in 1974-78 (see also: Image] and Image]). It is faced with "Rustenburg Bon Accord Gabbro" (information courtesy of UCL's Earth Sciences Department). All three were built for British Rail, but I think they are now largely occupied by other companies.
The lower bus station on the right is also by Seifert.
The statue on the far right, by Marochetti, depicts Robert Stephenson who built the original station in 1833.
A few years ago Seifert's work was to be swept away, but now it appears it will just be getting a make-over. This could end up being a greater indignity.

Cycle stand with tools
At the cycle rack outside M&S Simply Food at Euston railway station. Tools such as spannes, screwdrivers, tyre levers, hex keys and an adjustable wrench are tethered to the workstand by wire cables. Fortunately, there are no wire cutters amongst the tools. A tyre inflator is located just out of sight on the left.
