Harlesden Station
The notice case proclaims 'Welcome to Harlesden' but doesn't seem to have much to advertise other than the photographs of local councillors - in truth, this immediate area is on nobody's tourist trail. The station sign appears to be a survivor from the Network SouthEast era and has faded badly.

DC Lines At Harlesden
The Euston to Watford suburban 'New line' that opened in 1922. This route is often referred to as the DC Lines in reference to the direct current supplied through the 3rd and 4th rails. Services are operated by London Overground from Euston to Watford and the Bakerloo Line between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. On the left of the photo are Willesden Brent Sidings.
