Harlesden station
The first station here was Willesden which was opened in 1841 by the London & Birmingham Railway and closed in 1866. This was replaced by Willesden Junction station. A new station called Harlesden was opened by the London & North Western Railway on 15th June 1912. Bakerloo line services on the same tracks began on 16th April 1917, via a new junction at Queens Park station. The station is now served by Bakerloo line trains and London Overground.
In this view, a London Overground train is waiting to leave bound for Euston. The next station in the direction I am facing is Stonebridge Park. The main lines between Euston and Birmingham and beyond are away to the left. The overhead gantries can just be seen.

Harlesden railway and Underground station, Greater London
Opened in 1912 by the London & North Western Railway on its line from London Euston to Watford Junction.
View south east towards Stonebridge Park and Watford Junction. The main lines are hidden behind the fencing on the right. Like 55% of the London Underground network, this part is actually overground.
