The dining table and chairs were part of a delivery to a second hand furniture shop. Why someone has bothered to set them out like this on the kerb is a mystery, however.

Kensal Green: St Mary's Terrace, Harrow Road
This terrace of housing was among the very first to be built along the Harrow Road in Kensal Green, and, from the carved name and date stones set into the brickwork, shows that they were built in 1864 and 1865. The style, with the flat parapets concealing shallow pitched roofs, is completely different to the much more usual and familiar late Victorian terracing on the other side of the road which began to be built some 20 years later. The road is now the A404 Harrow Road.
