Reflections in the River Wensum
The flats seen on the other side of the river are situated on Clickers Road. All the roads at this locality have names related to the shoe industry, and indeed the site these new flats have been built on had since 1948 been occupied by the Edwards & Holmes shoe factory (named after its founder Sir Henry Holmes), which closed in 1990.

A home for the homeless
In Train Wood. The number of rough sleepers known to the authorities has risen from 250 to 400 over the past four years, and according to a recent survey there are 30 rough sleepers in the city. Nine have died in the county during the past year.
