As seen from the Riverside Walk along the River Wensum. All the roads at this locality have names related to the shoe industry, and indeed the site these new flats have been built on had since 1948 been occupied by the Edwards & Holmes shoe factory (named after its founder Sir Henry Holmes), which closed in 1990.
