Cromer station
A view from the platform at Cromer station, looking east. The signal is green for a train to leave for Sheringham.
Cromer is on the railway line from Norwich to Sheringham, named the "Bittern Line". Trains change direction here as the station was built as a terminus.
This image was taken not long before sunset on a February day. Sunlight reflects off a window to the right of the image.

Looking along platform 1 towards both Norwich and Sheringham (trains reverse here while travelling between the two places). The platform 1 starting signal has been cleared for a train to Sheringham.

Cromer Signal Box
The Cromer Railway Signalling Society saved this box. It's in working order and connected to specimen railway signals and track in the garden alongside.

Cromer Station
Originally Cromer Beach to differentiate it from the now closed Cromer station which was the other side of the town. Both of the original platforms remain in use but there are now no run-round loops. There were sidings on both sides of the station but the land has been redeveloped as retail outlets. The signal-box seen opposite the end of the platform is no longer in use but is grade II listed and being restored as a museum by The Cromer Railway Signalling Society http://www.cromerbox.co.uk/.
