Rural scrap metal yard
How about this for an example of blighting the countryside! Sadly, in some parts of rural Norfolk, salvage yards sprawl across several acres. This one is at Briston Common and the site is a health and safety hazard as well as showing that some people have very little respect for the countryside.

Entrance to private woodland
A sign affixed to a tree by the gate says "Private - Keep Out" > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/786622. This private woodland appears to have been part of Pegg's Plantation at some time in the past but unlike the owners of the section further down the road - in the adjacent grid square to the south - now called Lumley and Irvin Woods > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/786547 -, the owner of this section does not make walkers very welcome here.

Old farm machinery
The rusting remnants of farm machinery somehow doesn't clutter up the countryside. They blend into the landscape - and provide the photographer with come foreground!

Canopy of green
Looking up Mill Lane on the road to Briston. The trees, bushes and shrubs on either side of the road never go thirsty! The area is frequently flooded from the nearby stream.

Difficult to find any distinctive features in the more remote parts of Norfolk -but this is just off the Corpusty Road near Briston.
