"Private - Keep Out" says the sign affixed to the tree trunk, beside Mill Lane. This private woodland appears to have been part of Pegg's Plantation at some time in the past but unlike the owners of the section further down the road - in the adjacent grid square to the south - now called Lumley and Irvin Woods > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/786547 -, the owner of this section does not make walkers very welcome here.
