WW2 air raid shelter
The owners think that this was the location of the station's Sick quarters when RAF Little Snoring was an active airfield during WW2, but according to the official site plan the Hospital was located at the northern end of Kettlestone Road and the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) occupied what is now Crossways Caravan Park. The old concreted tracks and hut bases are still in place. The concreted tracks and hut bases are still in place > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4126965. What most of the campers probably won't know is that the overgrown hump depicted here is an air raid shelter which would seem to still be in place albeit inaccessible.

Post Office and Village Store
It looks as if a petrol filling station once stood here too, at some time in the past. The adjoining caravan site was the location of RAF Snoring's station sick quarters.
