The owners think that this was the location of the station's Sick quarters when RAF Little Snoring was an active airfield during WW2, but according to the official site plan the Hospital was located at the northern end of Kettlestone Road and the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) occupied what is now Crossways Caravan Park. The old concreted tracks and hut bases are still in place.
