Blister galls on walnut
These galls are caused by the gall mite Aceria erinea. Large yellowish blisters > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5504906 appear on the upper surface of the leaves. On the underside the galls show as hollows > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5504907 which are lined with grey or pale brown hairs among which the mites live and feed.

A spider's nest
The fluffy mass of silk adhering to the underside of an oak leaf > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5513868 is a spider's nest. Many spiders' nests come in the form of a silk egg sac, commonly hidden in, and protected by a web and attached to a surface, but some spiders do carry their nests with them. The egg sac is made from woven silk, and is frequently of approximately the same size as the spider who made it.
