Langley Hall School near Loddon
Langley Hall is a red-brick, Palladian‑style house which was built in 1737 for Richard Berney on land originally belonging to Langley Abbey.
During the second world war the house was occupied by the army and the pasture land ploughed. After the war the house and grounds were bought by Langley School, formerly of St. Giles in Norwich.

Langley Hall
Langley Hall was built in 1737 for Richard Berney. Until the dissolution of the monasteries the land had belonged to Langley Abbey > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1342980. In 1744 the estate was inherited by Sir William Beauchamp whose family later changed their name to Proctor-Beauchamp. Langley Hall is now Langley School, an independent boarding and day school that was founded in 1910.

Norwich High School War Memorial at Langley School
The memorial which was brought to Langley Hall when the school moved from Norwich, bears 57 names of "Old Boys" who were killed in the Great War.
