St Nicholas's Church
Church dating originally from the 13th Century, disproportionately large for the current village. The tower and north porch were added in the 15th Century. The building saw major restoration in the 19th Century, undertaken by J P Seddon. His changes were initially to the transepts and chancel, with underpinning of the tower, in 1869-79. The nave followed in 1888, but more superficially, meaning that it retains much of its 13th Century appearance. Grade I listed - see https://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=&id=1947.
