NE side of St Michael and All Angels Church, Llantarnam
The church, of early 12th century design, was built on the site of an earlier building. There have been many alterations, additions and rebuilds in the following centuries. The church was Grade II* listed in January 1951.

Grade II listed churchyard cross, St Michael and All Angels, Llantarnam
The restored former preaching cross is located in the SE corner of the churchyard.
It was Grade II listed in January 1951, at the same time that the church http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2611592 was Grade II* listed.
