Bewator Newport
Bewator make electronic access control systems. It appears that their site in Newport, seen here, is now vacant. The view is from the Pillmawr Road to Newport City Centre cycleway, approaching Glassworks Cottages and Albany Street.
Update. This photo http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1760710 taken in March 2010 shows that the site is now Network Rail's Crindau Works Depot.

The depot, viewed from the Crindau to Malpas footpath/cycleway, was formerly Bewator premises.
The white Network Rail name board on the far side of the building recently replaced the Bewator name. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1443115

New pedestrian access to car park, Crindau, Newport
The car park is located between Network Rail's depot http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2504286 and offices in Waterside Court. The direct route to and from the depot saves staff and visitors a couple of minutes.
The temporary traffic lights sign is misplaced.

Waxwings near to Sainsbury's, Newport
Six waxwings were first reported here twelve days before this picture.
My third subsequent visit on a shopping trip gave me a successful sighting.
The birds were using this tree when not feeding on the berries on bushes located on a small roundabout near to a petrol station.
