On March 19th 2018 a thin layer of snow from the overnight fall on the 17th-18th remains on the grass on the south side of Stow Hill.

Boarded-up former Church House pub for sale, Stow Hill, Newport
In mid July 2014, there is a For Sale board on the Stow Hill building opposite St Woolos Cathedral. Metal sheeting protects ground floor windows.
