New Queensway office block in Newport city centre
This view across Queensway in late October 2013 shows that exterior work on the new Cambrian Centre building is complete, or nearly so. Work is proceeding on the interior. The office building, which will house businesses such as Admiral Insurance, is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2014.

This was the first time I'd seen the Admiral building from this side.
The familiar side http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3947820 of the office block faces Queensway and Newport Railway station.

Demolition of Cambrian car park and shopping centre, Newport
This early February 2013 view across Railway Street shows demolition work in progress.
The 500-space Cambrian multi-storey car park which closed at the end of 2012, is being demolished, along with the adjacent shopping area. A 7-storey office block is planned for the site.

Godzilla advert on a Queensway bus shelter, Newport
On display on May 16th 2019, the advert is for the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, in cinemas from May 29th. Godzilla (Gojira in Japanese) is a fictional monster which first appeared in the 1954 Japanese film named Godzilla in English.
