Ebbw Valley Walk from Kendon Road, Kendon
The long distance path changes direction abruptly and goes up the hillside, but the path appears to be little used here as it is partly obstructed by beech saplings. This is on the edge of the Ty Mawr Wood Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.

Road to Trinant from Kendon Road
In the foreground is Kendon Road, B4251, heading for Crumlin. In the middle of the view, the road to Trinant heads past a bus stop. I was surprised to find that this seemingly isolated spot had an hourly bus service. And my luck was in - a bus arrived only 5 minutes after I reached the bus stop.
