Short cut
The road leading to Tredegar Park Golf Club makes a sharp left hand bend as it leaves the car park. The footpath to Mescoed cuts across the bend and crosses this small stream near Ynysyfro Farm.

Ynysyfro Farm
Seen from the road to the golf club which also serves as a public footpath. Another footpath branches off and takes the track to the right and heads to the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal where it passes underneath the M4 motorway.
