The Green, Hollowell
The Green isn't very green - just a small traffic island at a T-junction, but has the best kept thatched bus shelter I've ever seen*. (See http://www.hollowellsteam.com/dome.htm for a description of how it was thatched). The weather vane and village sign give a clue to Hollowell's claim to fame (see Image).

Telephone kiosk and bus stop, Hollowell
Conveniently situated on an island at a T-junction - one hopes the queues don't get too long. The Parish notices are on the wall on the opposite side of the road.
