Knuston: Knuston Hall
Knuston Hall is a Grade II Listed Adult Residential College & Conference Centre, run by Northamptonshire County Council. Its website is here http://www.knustonhall.org.uk/index.jspx From the Historic England website the reasons for the Listing designation are "The building retains fabric from several epochs which possess architectural interest, and which is highly characteristic of an evolved gentleman's seat. The Hall has an important series of rich later C18 plasterwork decoration in the ground floor rooms of the square block. The various ranges, including a service range and outbuildings to the north, have a structure which has evolved since the C17 and elements of interest survive from the C17, C18 and C19. The discovery of an early C19 annotated plan of the house adds to the interest." This view is of the south-east facing elevation, not the main entrance which faces south-west.

Irchester Road, Knuston
The lowest part of the road is known as 'the ford' but the red brick of a bridge can be seen which carries both the road and pavement over the brook to which there is no obvious access.
