Fallen Sign

Queuing traffic on Queens Road West
Although this is some way from the route of the NET tram line to Chilwell, these temporary traffic lights and single file traffic is for that construction. This junction of Queens Road West and Meadow Lane is being improved before the work on the tram adds extra traffic along here while the construction takes place on Chilwell High Road.

A Cyclist waits
At the temporary lights at the Queens Road West / Meadow Road junction. The work on the junction has been underway for about six months now (it started before my only other picture of the work Image). The junction realignment took second place to some gas main laying for a while in the middle. It now looks like it will be finished before Christmas.
