Woodyard Lane
Originally a country lane, this is still a pedestrian route through from Wollaton to Bilborough. This end also provides vehicle access to a factory.

This is a continuation of and a renaming of Torvill Drive. The houses at this end look rather larger and are more set back from the road.

A walk through Harrison's Plantation (7)
Raleigh Pond is at the eastern end of Harrison's Plantation. It is a tranquil spot in the midst of the busy Nottingham suburb of Wollaton.

A walk through Harrison's Plantation (5)
Raleigh Pond, at the east end of the Plantation was a former claypit. It now supports breeding mallard and Canada geese and is used as a fishing lake although the fishing platforms are in bad repair, attacked by vandals from the look of them.

Syd on Raleigh Pond
This photograph shows Syd, a Red Eared Slider (terrapin) that has lived in Raleigh Pond for almost 9 years with his mate. The hot weather has resulted in many sightings and will continue to do so now word is getting round.
