Nottingham: view from the Castle Rock
Hope Drive, with its grand Victorian houses, runs diagonally across the picture towards Castle Boulevard. The slate-roofed terrace with three ground-floor bays, Nos 2-8 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1831733 , just to the right of centre, is said to be by Watson Fothergill - a restrained but characteristically asymmetrical example of his work.

2 - 8 Hope Drive
Ken Brand in his book, Watson Fothergill Architect, has these as by him in 1888-9. Personally I cannot see a single Fothergill-like feature.

The Coach House, Ogle Drive, Nottingham
I haven't found any particular history to this building, but presumably the arched entrances were for coaches and/or their horses to be stabled.
