Nottingham - NG7 (Park)
The steep hill at the top of Tatterhall Drive and the sharp left hand bend at the top, leading into North Road. The street sign "Albury Square" that is attached to this large post-1920s house refers to a cluster of newer properties that have been built on what must have previously been carriage premises or gardens?

This is the Tattershall Drive elevation of a large house designed by the flamboyant Nottingham architect Watson Fothergill and built in 1886. For more about it, and Fothergill's other buildings, see David Lally's article: https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/The-Buildings-of-Watson-Fothergill . Like a number of roads in The Park Estate, this one is very steep. For another view of what is now called The Priest's House, see Image
