Roadside marker, Belton Lane
I'm not sure what this is. The inscription on it was so thickly covered in paint as to be unreadable. I suspect it is an old boundary marker for the Borough of Grantham and the parish of Londonthorpe and Harrowby Without.

Wall, railings and monument at Belton Park
This is at the southern end of the National Trust's property at Belton Park just north of Grantham; the railings are just to the east of the Lion Gates. The monument is a tablet set into the pillar at the poppy wreath; it's wording reads... "This tablet commemorates the founding of the Machine Gun Corps. Formed 14 October 1915. Disbanded 15 July 1922. And pays tribute to 170 500 of all ranks who served in the corps. June 1947."
