Tollemache statue
In a prominent position on St.Peter's Hill, the inscription reads "The honourable Frederick Jas. Tollemache born 1801 died 1888. He represented this borough in Parliament with occasional interval from 1826 to 1874. Erected in 1891 by the friends who revered his memory, irrespective of political opinions"

This Wetherspoon pub is named after the Hon Frederick Tollemache, whose statue (Image]) stands outside its front doors and can be seen to the left in this photograph. Tollemache was the town's MP for much of the 19th century.

Frederick James Tollemache Statue
The bronze statue of Hon Frederick James Tollemache MP, who was Member of Parliament for Grantham several times from 1826 to 1874.
