Drug dealing and associated impacts

A three-month operation to initially
develop intelligence around the current drug issues in
the town before undertaking enforcement. A
significant number of arrests made. Closure orders
obtained warrants executed. A dedicated, multi-
skilled response to drug-related criminal activity,
including engagement with partner agencies,
businesses and residents. Plain clothed and proactive
patrols have led to a significant increase in intelligence
submitted and processed. We have obtained seven
Magistrates warrants and executed 16 arrests with
investigations on-going. There have been three
closure orders obtained to protect vulnerable
residents. The drug supply in Grantham has been
significantly affected by police action.7 Magistrates Warrants have been obtained and executed
