Old and New on Wharf Road
On the right, FW 5698, a 1935 Leyland Tiger TS7 with Burlingham B35F body, formerly belonging to the Lincolnshire Road Car Company (fleet number 1411). On the left, a 2010 Optare X1200 Tempo (YJ10 EZE) on the Grantham it (into town) bus service. The Leyland Tiger is one of four preserved buses, belonging to the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society, which were used to transport visitors between the park and ride car parks and the Festival of Speed site at Grantham Station.

Spittlegate House, London Road, Grantham
Large Georgian house, 18th century, now converted to flats as supported housing for young people. (This explains the parade of bins outside!) The Listing refers to variousoriginal internal fittings, and it appears that these were largely retained during the conversion. Listed Grade II.
