Gamston Lock No.3
The Grantham Canal passes right through the middle of the Gamston housing development of the 1980s and 90s. This was the third lock up from the River Trent. The March 2009 feasibility study for the canal would not return this section to navigation.

The Grantham Canal at Gamston
