Halam C of E Primary School Entrance
The school's entrance. I was caretaker of this school from October 2006 till April 2012 but this particular photo with others were taken the following morning when I had to sleep at the school overnight due to heavy snow the night before.

The Old Plough, Halam
Formerly The Plough Inn public house, now a private house. Dating from around 1700 it is well decorated with diaper work brickwork on the gable end and the main frontage. Listed Grade II.

The Turnpike, Halam
The roadname records the fact that this was a turnpike road, linking Mansfield with Leadenham to the east of Newark. On the left is the Waggon & Horses pub, dating from 1752 and Listed Grade II.
