Church of St Michael the Archangel, Laxton
Grade I listed, the main body of the church dates from the 12th century but with significant repair and remodelling in the 19th century.

Traditional farm building in Laxton

The books are published by the Nottinghamshire Local History Association.

Castle mound at Laxton, Nottinghamshire
The mound is the site of a 11th century castle which consisted of motte with inner and outer baileys. A manor house was built here in the 17th century which utilised fish ponds said to pre-date it.
