HGV trucks by Hatfield Plantation
They appeared to be loading and unloading aggregate. The dusty lane leads to the site of what was once Welbeck Colliery.

Old Parish Boundary Stone (B for Budby)
A parish boundary stone Found on the edge of Hatfield Plantation close to Meden Vale and Gleadthorpe. The boundary shown on today's map shows that it is further to the east of this point in the field you can see in the background If anyone knows the period or age of this stone I'd love to know. I know there are some similar in nearby Birklands Woods as seen on this site http://www.thynghowe.org.uk/Thyng.html

Storage yard and footy pitch
What appears to be a storage area of some description and made from the same brick as the other military structures in this area. It also appears to have doubled as a five-a-side football pitch for crew serving here as the paint on the wall has certainly aged as one would expect. The storage area continues to the left and is square shaped. All of these military structures appear on the 1:25K scale maps and also on the OS Street View (1:10K) although only the clear area from the surrounding forest that hints at something being there.
