Kings Mill Viaduct
For an early structure (built 1817), this is a remarkably wide structure. It was built as part of the Mansfield and Pinxton railway, but this was realigned later and the viaduct remained.
The viaduct is Listed Grade ii and also a Scheduled Monument.

Kings Mill Viaduct
Dating from 1817, Kings Mill Viaduct carried the Mansfield and Pinxton tramway across a small stream. The main line (still open as part of the Robin Hood line) was diverted round this section of the tramway; the viaduct now carries a footpath.

Hermitage Local Nature Reserve is a mill pond close to Kings Mill Reservoir and is well known for its heronry.
