  This northerly facing photograph is of the southern end of the section of the Skegby Trail that runs between Stoneyford Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield (immediately behind the viewpoint) and Mansfield Road, Skegby. Sutton-in-Ashfield - Vere Avenue brickwork

The Skegby Trail
  This northerly facing photograph is of the Skegby Trail at a point where it is crossed by a Image to Mansfield Road, Skegby (on the left) from Quarrydale Avenue (on the immediate right) . Along the trail, just beyond the barrier ahead, the route begins to descend through a fairly steep gradient in quite a deep cutting.
