The Tunnel, Park Estate, Nottingham
Part of Thomas Hine's comprehensive design for the development of the Park Estate, providing access for carriages to Derby Road. Completed in 1855. This is the central light shaft, complete with staircase access – not always open. Listed Grade II.

Nottingham Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral and seat of the Bishop of Nottingham. It was built in the late 19th century after the restoration of the Catholic hierarchy in the United Kingdom. It lies just to the west of the city centre on the main road out of Nottingham towards Derby.
