Viv Anderson leaving Hucknall
Nottingham's trams are named after prominent Nottinghamians. This one is carries the name of Viv Anderson MBE, the Nottingham Forest full back who was the first black man to be capped by England and also a European Cup winner with the Reds.

County and Forest trams at Hucknall
NET trams are named after Nottingham heroes past and present, from all walks of life. The one on the left carries the names of Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler, manager and trainer of the most successful Notts County sides in living memory, the one on the right that of the Nottingham Forest full back Viv Anderson MBE, the first black man to play for England.
Hucknall is the northern terminus of the Nottingham tram system.

Hucknall (Byron) railway station, Nottinghamshire
Opened in 1848 by the Midland Railway on the line from Nottingham to Worksop, this station closed in 1964. It was reopened in 1993.
View north towards Linby and Worksop. Only one platform (far right, the former southbound platform) was being used by trains when this image was taken. The western, former northbound, side of the platform is used by trams.
