Crock Dumble in the Autumn
Crock Dumble flows from a spring in the hills to the N. of the village, to the River Trent. It frequently floods but never dries up. Frogs, toads, sticklebacks and, sometimes, ducks live here. Sometimes a kingfisher pays a visit.
