On Thurland Street. To the right can be seen Watson Fothergill's Gothic revival Nottingham and Notts Bank head office from 1877-82 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1046120 . In 1876 he had designed this modest classical building for solicitors Wing and Welby, quite a contrast.

A relatively early work by the Nottingham architect Watson Fothergill ( at that stage still using his proper name, Fothergill Watson) predating his distinctive use of red brick. However, his trademark polychrome banding and oriel windows are already evident.
