A Fothergill doorway

The main doorway of the former Nottingham & Notts Bank (now a lingerie shop) on Thurland Street. The tympanum shows Britannia, Nottingham Castle and The Major Oak. The building dates from 1882 and exhibits many characteristic features of Fothergill's eclectic style.
