Flora in Wilwell Farm Cutting Nature Reserve (3)
Brooklime (Veronica beccabunga). The blue flowers are distinctive of the Speedwell family, although the fleshy leaves are specific to this species.

The tram has just crossed Fairham Brook on the reserved section between Southchurch Drive and Wilford, where the tramway takes to the streets again.

Fields near Silverdale (1)
This view is looking east pretty well along the line of the proposed tram route to Clifton. It will pass close to the protruding fence at the left, then up to the distant hedge line. This marks the former Great central Railway line, onto which the tram will turn left and follow almost as far as Wilford Bridge.

Fields near Silverdale (2)
This view is looking east pretty well along the line of the proposed tram route to Clifton. It will pass close to the protruding hedge at the left, then up to the distant hedge line. This marks the former Great central Railway line, onto which the tram will turn left and follow almost as far as Wilford Bridge. The tram line will be flanked by a corridor of open space together with a new pedestrian route round the southern end of Silverdale.
