New offices of the Three Valleys Housing Association
This Association now administers all ex-council housing in the Borough of Erewash. The factory which stood here until recently was presumably originally involved in the lace, or other textile, industry. Latterly it was a depot for Brakes - the food distributor.

Long Eaton railway station, Derbyshire
Opened as "Sawley Junction" in 1888 by the Midland Railway on the lines from Derby to Nottingham and Leicester, this station was renamed "Long Eaton" in 1968. View west towards Sawley & Derby. The lifts to the platforms were installed in 2013, to complement the ramps from road level. Confusingly, there was a separate "Long Eaton" station until 1967 on the Erewash Valley line, around a mile away -see Image In effect, this is the fourth railway station to be called "Long Eaton".
